DocumentsTranslate.com ("Service," "we," "us," or "our") provides an online document translation service that uses artificial intelligence to translate PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and text files between multiple languages.
1.1 Service Features
• AI-powered document translation using Microsoft Azure Translator
• Support for PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and TXT file formats
• Translation between 20+ languages
• Free tier: 2 translations per day for files under 1MB
• Paid translations: $0.99 for additional files or files over 1MB
• Automatic file deletion after processing

By accessing and using this Service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information

4.1 Permitted Use
• Translate documents for personal, educational, or business purposes
• Upload files that you own or have permission to translate
• Use translated documents in accordance with applicable laws
4.2 Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to:
• Upload copyrighted materials without permission
• Translate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our Service
• Use automated tools to abuse our free tier limits
• Resell or redistribute our translation services
• Upload personally identifiable information of others without consent
• Use the Service for any illegal purposes

5.1 Free Tier
• Daily Limit: 2 free translations per day
• File Size Limit: Files must be under 1MB
• Supported Formats: PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT
• Reset: Daily limits reset at midnight UTC
5.2 Paid Translations
• Price: $0.99 USD (or equivalent in BRL) per document
• Triggers: Files over 1MB or exceeding daily free limit
• Payment: Processed securely through Stripe
• No Refunds: Payments are non-refundable once processing begins

6.1 File Processing
• Original files are deleted within 24 hours of upload
• Translated files are available for download for 7 days
• All files are encrypted during transmission and storage
• We do not access, read, or use your document content for any purpose other than translation
6.2 Data Retention
• Documents: Automatically deleted after processing
• Translation Logs: Kept for 30 days for service improvement
• Payment Records: Retained for legal and tax requirements

7.1 Your Content
• You retain all rights to your original documents
• You grant us a temporary license to process your files for translation
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to translate uploaded content
• Translated documents belong to you
7.2 Our Service
• All rights in our Service, software, and website remain ours
• Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our Service

8.1 Translation Accuracy
• Translations are provided by AI and may contain errors
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy for any translation
• Complex technical or legal documents may require human review
• Cultural context and idioms may not translate perfectly
8.2 Service Availability
• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee continuous availability
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• Service interruptions may occur due to technical issues

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9.1 Damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific translation
• For free translations, our liability is limited to $1.00
• We are not liable for translation errors or inaccuracies
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on translated content

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocumentsTranslate.com and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or translate

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe

• Technical Issues: Contact support for technical problems
• Disputed Charges: Must be reported within 30 days

13.1 Your Right to Terminate
• You may stop using the Service at any time
• Your data will be deleted according to our retention policy
• Outstanding payments remain due
13.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
